	Part 3: Implementation Plan (available from PennDOT at 717-787-2862) Details the actions for achieving plan strategies. Includes specific responsibilities and timelines for implementation.
	Part 4: User’s Guide (Adobe PDF, 800 KB) Assists planning partners and other stakeholders in integrating the statewide, long-range plan into their day-to-day work.

Mobility Plan Milestones

September to November 2004	Surveys and Data Collection	Public and stakeholder surveys and focus groups were conducted to help begin framing the Mobility Plan.
December 2004	Trends and Implications	This report identifies key transportation issues and trends for consideration in Mobility Plan development.
January 2005	Mobility Plan Strategic Directions	This report defines the Mobility Plan’s broad vision, goals, and objectives for use in future public involvement and in guiding the detailed development of the Mobility Plan.
February 2005	Transportation Choices for Pennsylvania	The Choices document is a major deliverable identifying alternative future directions for Pennsylvania transportation. The Choices and Strategic Directions documents were the focus for Regional Outreach I.
March 2005	Regional Outreach I — Transportation Choices	Key stakeholder groups evaluated the Mobility Plan’s broad directions and the alternative future transportation directions. Sessions were conducted in eight areas of the state, involving 800 stakeholders at 36 workshops. See Setting Directions and Regional Outreach I Quantitative Graphs, available for download above.
May 2005	Mobility Plan Summit	The results of the Regional Outreach I were the basis for a major statewide meeting of planning partners, modal operators, and other stakeholders to help set direction for the Draft Mobility Plan. This was a special meeting of the Mobility Plan Development Team.
December 2005	Draft Pennsylvania Mobility Plan	The completion of the draft Mobility Plan provided the foundation for a range of public and stakeholder review over the next several months.
Spring 2006	Implementation Workshops	Twenty implementation workshops brought together representatives of organizations with a common focus to evaluate the Mobility Plan's direction and develop specific actions to effectively implement the plan's strategies.
Summer 2006	Document Refinement	The Mobility Plan Direction Document, Implementation Plan, and User's Guide were developed and refined through an iterative process involving PennDOT and numerous stakeholder organizations.
Fall 2006	Mobility Plan Completion	Implementation begins!
